A Little About Me

 I'm Elise McKeen and  I've worn several hats over the years. While my professional profiles online highlight my work as a Corporate Trainer and Curriculum Designer for some of Europe's most successful companies and schools over the past 20 years, I'll be focusing on my writing here.

I moved to Germany in 1993 and I'm currently living in a small town nestled at the edge of the Teutoburg Forest.  This adventure has offered me a front row seat to German folklore and literature while historical excursions to castles and villages inspire me.

With Germanic and Celtic roots, I have truly enjoyed creating the world of EXTER.   I am blessed with daily adventures that offer me hands-on research for my plot twists, settings, and characters.  Always something new with enough history to keep EXTER in turmoil.

Hobbies?  I love castling, writing, and taking weekend trips throughout Europe.  My dream is to restore historical buildings and homes to their old glory.  I love pre-18th century and Art Deco architecture.

I still wear Lauren, Depeche Mode is still my favorite group, and I'm still a complete goofball.
